hi,
kann mir jemand sagen ob die Mappoint 2009 Europe nun in Englisch ist ?
gibt es eine deutsche Version und wie heisst die ?
ist es "normal" wenn MP2009 erst M$ Access Engine installieren will (habe kein Office auf Win7) ?
kann man die Menubar (Ribbonstyle) "verändern" (Style / Farbe) ?

Yes there are different language versions.
The object model (API) is the same, although some of the text is different.
Eg. I have a program which can key on "Rest Stops" in route directions.
It needs to check for the text in four different languages, to ensure it
works for everyone.
Finding it in the US is more difficult. Microsoft restrict sales of teh
two versions to their respective areas, although some retailers will
ship anywhere (I had luck with Grey Matter in the UK, when I was looking
for a retail European edition - that was English though).
